The SMT series taps offers complete interchangeability/compatibility with the Toner TMT series 600 MHz multitaps. Upgrading is accomplished by tap plate change out.

The SMT series multitaps utilize a rugged, precision, die-cast aluminum housing. Type 384 aluminum alloy is used, which is superior to type 360. Type 384 aluminum alloy contains 2% silicone and is harder than type 360. The silicone prevents moisture absorption, this in effect, helps to eliminate condensation.
